Family Dinner on stage
GroundUP Music Festival will return to the Miami Beach Bandshell, a concert venue in Florida, on 12–14 March 2027. Host band Snarky Puppy will bring its Family Dinner format to the Saturday and Sunday programmes, accompanying guest musicians. The group will also perform its own full sets, including music from its newest album Somni. This will be the festival’s eleventh edition.[1], [2]
The announced performers
The programme includes the keyboard-and-drums duo DOMi & JD Beck, Charlie Hunter & Ella Feingold, The Rumble, and Lionel Loueke & Gretchen Parlato. Snarky Puppy bassist Michael League co-founded the festival with arts leader Paul Lehr. League described the meeting of different voices and musical styles as central to the event, which combines the host band’s performances with appearances by visiting artists.[1]
Workshops and a benefit
Daily workshops, masterclasses and panels will involve Snarky Puppy members and other guest artists. Specific sessions are to be announced in the coming weeks. The opening Friday will host an all-day GroundUP Music Foundation benefit, including rehearsals and private performances. Saturday and Sunday will each combine a Snarky Puppy set with the Family Dinner sessions featuring guests backed by the band.[1]
